You will experience the excitement of an African wildlife safari to some of the most spectacular national game parks in East Africa, all teeming with wildlife animals.This unforgettable tour will take you to the Serengeti Plains National Park, the heart of wild Africa and a massive wilderness of 14500 square km, where every day brings a new landscape and a new adventure.
Your Safari will also take you to the Ngorongoro Crater, featuring one of the highest concentrations of game in Africa. Here you will witness an amazing spectacle of African wildlife – inside a self-contained world featuring an unbelievable concentration of animals. Lastly your trek will take you to Tarangire National Park, one of Tanzania’s most dramatically located wildlife areas, consisting of a shallow but huge soda lake, at the foot of the Great Rift Valley’s western escarpment. The size of this national park makes it perfect for a one- day game drive, and is famous for it’s unique tree-climbing lions.

Day 1: Arrival JRO - Arusha/Moshi
Whatever your arrival time at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your Kilimanjaro Trekking mate driver-guide will be waiting for you with a warm welcoming smile, and transferred to your hotel- in Moshi/ Arusha.
Day 2: Moshi/Arusha - Tarangire National Park
We depart from your lodge in Moshi/Arusha and proceed to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is known for its vast herds of elephants. It is estimated that there are over 2,500 elephants in the park. We enjoy an outdoors lunch overlooking the bluff and viewing Tarangire’s plains. After the game drive, late evening we leave the park and drive to Mto wa Mbu near Lake Manyara /Karatu, dinner and overnight at the Campsite or at the lodge at Marera Valley Lodge, Bougainvillea Safari Lodge or Kudu lodge.
Day 3: Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park
Morning after breakfast we depart from our Campsite or lodge and drive to the Great Serengeti National Park. The word ‘Serengeti’ means ‘endless plains’, which describes the park’s 5,600 square mile boundary. Yet for its sprawling area, the Serengeti does not disappoint when it comes to rich game-viewing. The Serengeti ecosystem is one of the oldest on earth. The Serengeti boasts one of the most varied collection of wildlife on the planet.
Annually, from May to December, millions of animals embark on a migration which brings them from central Serengeti to Kenya’s Masai Mara and back again in an incredible spectacle. Even during the ‘down-time’, vast herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle roam here, along with groups of elephant, giraffe, and buffalo, as the lions, leopard, cheetah, hyenas and jackals stalk their meals.
Late evening, we make our way to our campsite or tented lodging for dinner and overnight. Tented Lodges – Embalakai tented lodge, Twc, or Tanzania bush camp tented lodge.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast in the morning we start a short game drive in the central of Serengeti, afternoon we begin our drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro via Oldupai George with your picnic lunch. The Oldupai Gorge provides evidence of the earliest signs of mankind, where hominid footprints are preserved in volcanic rock 3,600,000 years old. Ngorongoro Crater is the world largest caldera measuring at more than 2,000 feet deep and 12 miles in diameter. After we arrive to Ngorongoro crater, we drive to the Campsite or Lodge for dinner and overnight. Lodges - Ngorongoro Wildlife Lodge or Rhino Lodge.
Day 5: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha/Moshi/Airport
Today we visit the largest intact volcanic crater in the world, the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. At more than 2,000 feet deep and 12 miles in diameter, the Ngorongoro Crater has one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. 30,000 animals make their home in this crater, making it an ideal place for sightings of the ‘big 5’ – lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard. We enjoy a picnic lunch in this truly world-class attraction, also known as the ‘8th Wonder of the World’. After lunch we proceed with a short game drive, then we depart the crater, ascend the walls of the Crater climbing up to the rim, and begin our long drive back to Moshi/ Arusha to your hotel or drop-off at the airport fly back home or safari extension.
