Day 1: Arrival JRO - Arusha/Moshi
Whatever your arrival time at Kilimanjaro International Airport, your Kilimanjaro Trekking mate driver-guide will be waiting for you with a warm welcoming smile, and transferred to your hotel- in Arusha overnight at Gran Melia Hotel, Four points by Sheraton Arusha or mount Meru hotel.
Day 2: Moshi/Arusha - Tarangire National Park
Morning We depart from your lodge in Arusha and proceed to Tarangire National Park. Tarangire is known for its vast herds of elephants. It is estimated that there are over 2,500 elephants in the park. We enjoy an outdoors lunch overlooking the bluff and viewing Tarangire’s plains. After the game drive, late evening drive to the lodge, dinner and overnight at Tarangire Sopa Lodge inside the park.
Day 3: Tarangire National Park - Serengeti National Park
Morning after breakfast we depart from your lodge and drive to the Great Serengeti National Park. The word ‘Serengeti’ means ‘endless plains’, which describes the park’s 5,600 square mile boundary. Yet for its sprawling area, the Serengeti does not disappoint when it comes to rich game-viewing. The Serengeti ecosystem is one of the oldest on earth. The Serengeti boasts one of the most varied collections of wildlife on the planet.
Annually, from May to December, millions of animals embark on a migration which brings them from central Serengeti to Kenya’s Masai Mara and back again in an incredible spectacle. Even during the ‘down-time’, vast herds of wildebeest, zebra and gazelle roam here, along with groups of elephant, giraffe, and buffalo, as the lions, leopard, cheetah, hyenas and jackals stalk their meals. Late evening, we make our way to the lodging, dinner and overnight at Sopa lodge Serengeti.
Day 4: Serengeti National Park - Full day game drive
After breakfast in the morning we depart from your lodge and drive to the Northwest of Serengeti at Kogatende Mara river and spend a full day game drive to explore the wildebeest Migration. At the evening drive to the Luxury Tented Lodge for dinner and overnight between Tanzania bush camp luxury Tented Lodge, Gnu or Serengeti Heritage luxury tented Lodge
Note: in the northwest of Serengeti at Mara river there’s no big lodges over there, only Luxury Tented Lodges found there.
Day 5: Serengeti National Park - Full day game drive
Morning after breakfast you will continue with a full day game drive in the Northwest of Serengeti at Kogatende Mara river to explore the wildebeest migration in the Serengeti with your picnic lunch, in the late evening drive back to your Luxury tented lodge for dinner and overnight.
Day 6: Serengeti National Park - Full day game drive
Morning after breakfast short Game drive in the northwest of Serengeti, then leave the north and drive back to the center of Serengeti. You will continue with a game drive on route back to the central Serengeti. Drive to your luxury lodge for dinner and overnight at Sopa Lodge Serengeti or Serengeti Serena safari lodge.
Day 7: Serengeti National Park - Ngorongoro Crater
After breakfast in the morning we start a short game drive in the central of Serengeti, afternoon we begin our drive from Serengeti to Ngorongoro via Oldupai George with your picnic lunch. The Oldupai Gorge provides evidence of the earliest signs of mankind, where hominid footprints are preserved in volcanic rock 3,600,000 years old. Ngorongoro Crater is the world largest caldera measuring at more than 2,000 feet deep and 12 miles in diameter. After we arrive to Ngorongoro crater, we drive to the Lodge, dinner and overnight at Sopa Lodge Ngorongoro.
Day 8: Ngorongoro Crater - Arusha/Moshi
Today we visit the largest intact volcanic crater in the world, the magnificent Ngorongoro Crater. At more than 2,000 feet deep and 12 miles in diameter, the Ngorongoro Crater has one of the largest concentrations of wildlife in Africa. 30,000 animals make their home in this crater, making it an ideal place for sightings of the ‘big 5’ – lion, elephant, rhino, buffalo and leopard. We enjoy a picnic lunch in this truly world-class attraction, also known as the ‘8th Wonder of the World’. After lunch we proceed with a short game drive, then we depart the crater, ascend the walls of the Crater climbing up to the rim, and begin our long drive back to Arusha to your hotel between Gran Melia Hotel , Four points by Sheraton Arusha or mount Meru hotel.
Day 9: Arusha/Moshi - JRO Airport
Transfer to Kilimanjaro International Airport (JRO) to connect international departure flight
